NIO truly delivers in July

NIO reported its latest delivery numbers for last month on Monday. The ‘Chinese Tesla’ delivered a total of 7,931 vehicles last month – a 124.5% year-on-year increase.

About NIO

NIO is a Chinese electric car manufacturer founded in 2014 by William Li, a Chinese business executive and entrepreneur. Its headquarters are based in Shanghai, China. It also has international offices in the United States, Germany and the United Kingdom. It employs around 4,000 people worldwide.

July delivery numbers

The July deliveries consisted of:

  • 1,702 ES8s – the company’s six or seven-seater flagship premium smart electric SUV
  • 3,669 ES6s – a five-seater high-performance premium smart electric SUV
  • 2,560 EC6s – a five-seater premium smart electric coupe SUV

NIO has delivered a total of 125,528 cars as of July 31, 2021.

NIO deliveries since January 2021

 

Shares of NIO are up by 227.72% in the last year, trading at $44.57 per share at the end of trading day on Tuesday.
